These terms are an agreement between you (and the organization you sign up for) and MoDuet, which operates Insight Bench, powered by MoDuet (“Insight Bench”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you’re signing up for an organization, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The service

Insight Bench is a self-serve, software-only service. It checks public information about websites, gives a marketing health score with automated progress tracking, and offers fix recommendations and educational guides. It is separate from MoDuet’s custom, human-led agency services, which are provided only under their own agreement. Software-only plans don’t include human agency services or someone carrying out strategy or fixes for you.

2. What we don’t promise

Scores and recommendations are automated diagnostic suggestions. They can be incomplete or wrong, for example when a site blocks our checks or a third-party service is unavailable. Using Insight Bench doesn’t guarantee any search ranking, traffic, AI visibility, leads or revenue. Check changes before you make them to your website, and keep your own backups.

3. Your account

You must give a real email address and keep access to it and to any sign-in method (such as Google sign-in or two-factor authentication) secure. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, including what team members you invite do. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it.

4. Acceptable use

  • Only check public web pages that you own or are authorized to check.
  • Don’t use Insight Bench to attack, overload, probe for vulnerabilities in, or gain access to any system, or to get around our security protections, fetch limits or rate limits (for example, 3 on-demand re-scans per site per day).
  • Don’t resell, copy or scrape the service, or use automated means to access it except through features we provide.
  • Don’t use it for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Free trial, plans and billing

  • New accounts get a 14-day trial of Growth plan features with no credit card required. When it ends, the account moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel or change plans at any time in Plan and billing (the Stripe customer portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable after the trial period, except where the law requires a refund.
  • Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.
  • If a payment fails, we’ll email you while Stripe retries. If it still can’t be collected, the account moves to the Free plan.
  • After a downgrade or cancellation, data beyond the Free plan is kept read-only for 30 days, then deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your data

You own the data you put into Insight Bench and the reports about your sites. You give us permission to use it to provide and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Account settings.

7. Our content

The Insight Bench software, scoring methods, guides and brand belong to us or our licensors. You may use reports and guides for your own business, including sharing them with your team and contractors, but not resell them or present them as your own product.

8. Other services

Some features rely on other services (for example Google, Stripe, Brevo and AI providers). Their availability is outside our control, and features that use them may change or stop if they do. Connecting your Google Analytics or Search Console is optional and subject to Google’s own terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Insight Bench and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend the service for an account that breaks these terms, or stop offering the service with at least 30 days’ notice (and a pro-rated refund of any prepaid period). Sections 2, 6, 7 and 9 continue after the agreement ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we’ll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
